We have been delivering large scale developments for over 30 years

The Lead Team

Maplewood is one of the longest established active house builders in Ireland. It has been developing homes for 40 years and it has completed over 35,000 units over that period of time. Our Team is proactive in researching and implementing advances in construction techniques to ensure our developments are sustainable and friendly to our Environment.
 

SC parallel SRL was founded in 2002 specializing in the design and manufacture of wooden structures. Over the past ten years the company has been the lead designers in a number of significant residential and commercial developments. The design team includes all the main disciplines including structural design, heating, plumbing and electrical with a particular focus on being environmentally conscious.

Previous Developments

Kilcarberry

Kilcarberry Grange is a Joint Venture with one of Ireland’s largest Government Authorities. This development which is currently under construction will provide 1,034 houses, duplex units and apartments. It is designed around the “healthy cities” concept, set into a network of landscaped green corridors and spaces incorporating existing natural features, the estate will provide a seamless integrated mix of public, affordable and private housing. It is located along a busy main route into Dublin and sits alongside one of the largest public parks in the city. Although only started 3 years ago it is already recognised as one of the most important new housing schemes in Ireland

Adamstown, Dublin 

Adamstown, Dublin Conceived as a new, sustainable town for 25,000 people, centred on an existing railway line to the west of Dublin, award-winning Adamstown pioneered the use of the Strategic Development Zone (SDZ) in Ireland. Maplewood were one of the 3 developers who initiated the development by acquiring a large portion of the land required and working with our architects and the local authority to Master-Plan the scheme. The project represents a hugely successful model for collaboration between the Local Authority and developers proving to be both flexible and robust over a long timeframe. The masterplan would ensure an integrated, long-term vision that is inclusive, comprehensive, equitable, and future proofed. Following a 10-year review in 2014, the robust and detailed foundation of the masterplan has meant that through boom, recession and housing crisis, Adamstown has continued to be a desirable long-term location for family living

Knockrabro, Dublin 

Knockrabro, This is a Luxurious development in the heart of one of the best locations in Dublin built by Maplewood. It comprises over 170 large houses and apartments. Maplewood completed the houses in 2019 and already second-hand houses in this location are selling for over €1 million

Ballycullen, Dublin 24

This is a 90 hectare plot of green field land close to Dublin with the capacity to build over 2000 housing units. Maplewood have been instrumental in delivering the Master Plan for the area including the delivery of a new Football pitch and School. We have already completed 3 phases of housing development with over 600 units remaining to be developed. We have also started developing a new public road network in the area, to cater for the growing community. All houses are built to "Near Zero Energy” ratings.

Gateway Retail Park, Galway

This was a 27 hectare site for mixed use developments in a busy suburb of Galway City. It comprises a large scale retail development with over 35,000 Square Meters of retail space with two levels of parking. Is is occupied by B&Q and Dunnes Stores one of Irelands largest convenience food retailers. We acquired the site, masterplanned the development and built the scheme. Today it is a thriving shopping centre offering regional shopping to the Galway area
